LOW ENERGY NEUROFEEDBACK THERAPY

The Low Energy Neurofeedback is more suitable for people who have difficulty sitting in one place for a period of time or for people who have difficulty with attention issues as well as some who don’t do as well with traditional talk therapies.

How does the Low Energy Neurofeedback System work?

“The Low Energy Neurofeedback System functions at a more rapid rate than traditional neurofeedback also making it more functional,” Dr. Michael Dadson (Mike Dadson) remarks. LENS functions at a very low electromagnetic field, facilitating a mini feedback stimulation, resulting in changes to your brainwaves.

What does Low Energy Neurofeedback System work?

As with traditional neurofeedback, “Sensors are applied to your scalp, capturing the signals of your brain activity,” says Dr. Mike Dadson.

Neuropsychophysiologist Dr. Len Ochs, developed The Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS).

Evolving over the last 16 years, LENS is administered at a positive offset frequency from a person’s own dominant EEG frequency.

How is the Low Energy Neurofeedback System effective?

Low Energy Neurofeedback System has been found to be effective in training and self-regulation which is a necessity for optimal brain function, allowing your nervous system to become more adaptive. The LENS system is similar to neurofeedback in that it is non-invasive; it monitors and analyzes your brain activity through EEG monitoring which  is analyzed and formulated, delivering the feedback.

Who is Low Energy Neurofeedback System Suitable for?

Dr. Michael Dadson (Mike Dadson) states: “For people who have difficulty sitting in one place for a period of time or for people who have difficulty with attention issues, The Low Energy Neurofeedback is more suitable.”

Dr. Mike Dadson advises, “The Low Energy Neurofeedback system can shorten the time frame of sessions required to see improvement.” LENS has been shown to be effective in improving the functioning of the Central Nervous System which encompasses many benefits for those using LENS.

How Does Low Energy Neurofeedback System Compare to Neurofeedback?

“The Low Energy Neurofeedback System functions at a more rapid rate than traditional neurofeedback, also making it more functional,” Dr. Michael Dadson (Mike Dadson) remarks. LENS functions at a very low electromagnetic field, facilitating a mini feedback stimulation, resulting in changes to your brainwaves.

The Low Energy Neurofeedback signal is lower and weaker than that of neurofeedback, producing quantifiable changes in brain activity. When the EEG signals are recorded via the sensors and fed back through computer software, it can influence the brain’s electrical activity to become regulated.

As with traditional neurofeedback, “Sensors are applied to your scalp, capturing the signals of your brain activity,” observes Dr. Mike Dadson. Your signals are then processed by the computer software and sent back to you through the same sensors during therapy sessions.

Sensors are applied to your scalp, capturing the signals of your brain activity.

The result of neurofeedback treatment can be greater relaxation, a sense of ease and emotional resilience. Among other neurological and mental health issues, Neurofeedback has been used in the treatment of ADHD, trauma and PTSD recovery, anxiety, depression, epilepsy, ASD, insomnia and drug addiction (Larson, S 2006).

Low energy neurofeedback system (LENS) is safe and effective neurofeedback therapy. In contrast to traditional neurofeedback (requiring your involvement in retraining your brain), the LENS software does all the work to remove blockages that may be causing your symptoms.

A neurofeedback session will take between 45 minutes to 60 minutes.

The Neurofeedback process is based on the needs and goals of individual clients.

Your therapist or counsellor will discuss the number of recommended sessions with you based on your needs and treatment goals.
