PROLONGED EXPOSURE THERAPY

Brainwave pattern targets are set to improve mood, control of emotions, self -regulation, reduce the feelings of anxiety, and enhance your ability to learn. Dr. Mike Dadson put this in simple terms: “When you learn how to control your brainwave patterns, you can have better brain function through neurofeedback.” During the process, your only job is to let the LENS program examine your current brainwave activity and automatically adjust to the optimum positive neurofeedback you create. “It is like having a dislocated bone put back in place. There is relief, but with LENS it happens without the discomfort.”

Dr. Michael Dadson explains, “Our technician place small wires called electrodes on your scalp (there is no pain involved) which have a tiny metal disk attached.” An Electroencephalography (EEG – electrical activity of your brain) is fed-back to a computer where it is processed to determine existing brain functioning and if you are meeting the desired targets for improved brain function. Dr. Dadson identifies further “the data is sent back to a computer program that quickly analyses your brainwave patterns. It shows you your existing pattern and automatically sends a signal back to your brain so that it adjusts and responds to the desired improved brain function targets.”

Research has shown we have the ability to change our brain patterns of thought to meet the desired targeted changes in brain, which in turn improves specifically targeted and overall brain functioning.
